About MSRC

The Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre (MSRC) is a proactive and innovative charity, passionately committed to supporting anyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis through access to unbiased information and advice. Their approach is to encourage individuals to make choices that are appropriate to their daily lives, empowering them to maximise their potential.

Jeremy has Multiple Sclerosis and has experienced the wonders the MSRC performs at first hand. He says: “I owe a lot to The MSRC, they have helped me a lot. The New Pathways magazine has been a big help and is a lifesaver. Combined with its website, the MSRC now forms a major part of my life. A wealth of information, knowledge, help and experience, the MSRC is a must for anyone affected by MS. For me, the MSRC is like a shining beacon of hope!”

The MSRC website accepts stories, suggestions for links, fun items or just matters of general interest as the site is influenced by every user, making it a very unique and valuable source of information – even better is the fact you don't even need to be a member or MS patient. Everyone is welcome!

MSRC firmly believes that their role is simply to act as a conduit for people to share their thoughts, experience and knowledge. They believe that given sufficient information anyone who visits is capable of making their own decisions appropriate for their lives.

Their Message Board is a lively, inspiring and very supportive place to visit, even if you just read what goes on, and their Chat Room has been known to get a little lively as well! We consider them to be both wonderful and inspiring, and they are invaluable to all who use them.

The MSRC is a place where MS patients, relatives, carers (or even someone who knows a person with MS), can be an individual in the knowledge that although unique, they are not alone.

The three riders (Jeremy, Ralph and Sean), are all cycling for the same reason: all three believe wholeheartedly in the MSRC and the work it does. “People don't realise how valuable this charity is until you experience MS at first hand. It is then that the MSRC makes itself available, free-of-charge, non-judgmental, friendly, honest and very, very wise!” says Jeremy: “and that's why we have chosen to pull out all the stops and cycle such a long distance. In my opinion, no charity is as deserving as this.”
